Kerbey Lane Cafe celebrated its 40th anniversary May 5. The Austin comfort food spot, which is open for dine-in, takeout and delivery, started at 3704 Kerbey Lane and has since grown to seven other locations in the area. The Austin staple is still family-owned—the current CEO is Mason Ayer, the son of founders David and Patricia Ayer. 512-451-1436. www.kerbeylanecafe.com
