Su Meza Café is a local eatery that serves up authentic Colombian cuisine. The restaurant, located at 547-C on the Boulevard, has been a part of the Kenilworth community for a year and a half. The menu offers up a variety items for guests looking for traditional Colombian dishes and of course, Colombian coffee. Breakfast items include omelettes and pancakes as well as Colombian breakfast items such as empanadas, huevos pericos (Colombian style scrambled eggs), arepas (corn cakes), and more. Another dish guests can enjoy for breakfast is the Calentado Su Meza which consists of a fried egg, rice, beans, beef, chicharron (fried pork skin), sausage, and a corn cake. In addition to breakfast, the café also serves lunch and dinner items including burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and daily specials such as pernil (shredded pork), fried rice, carne asada, and picada. The menu has several vegetarian options as well. “We are thankful for the Kenilworth customers for supporting us,” said Angela Susu, owner. “We wish for everyone to stay safe and healthy.”
