The COVID-19 pandemic has illuminated health disparities in Wisconsin and across
the world. The challenges of equity and systemic racism have been magnified as
protests at the death of George Floyd from police brutality ignited a movement for
justice, locally and globally. The University of Wisconsin-Madison Global Health
Institute (GHI) invites you to join us for this webinar series that brings together diverse
experts from across the health spectrum— including UW-Madison faculty, health care
providers and policy makers—who will explore lessons learned from the pandemic and
how we move toward a more equitable and sustainable future for all. The webinars also
will lay the groundwork for a series of policy briefs to further conversation on these
issues of critical importance.
The first three seminars are from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time
