California wildfires: Here’s what we know about the LNU, SCU, CZU complex fires - San Francisco Chronicle

Massive clusters of lightning-sparked wildfires are burning huge swaths of Northern California, threatening lives, destroying homes and displacing tens of thousands of people forced to flee for safety. Four people have died.

Below is a roundup of the region’s biggest, most destructive fires, along with critical information about evacuation zones and respite centers. The list will be updated as new information becomes available.

The LNU Lightning Complex fires

• Counties affected: Napa, Sonoma, Solano

• Burning since: Aug. 17

• Size: 302,388 acres

• Containment: 15%

• Evacuation centers:

Napa County — Crosswalk Community Church, 2590 First Street, Napa. Napa animal shelter — Napa County Animal Shelter, 942 Hartle Ct., Napa

Sonoma County — Santa Rosa Fair Grounds 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa

Solano County — Ulatis Community Center, 1000 Ulatis Dr., Vacaville (as of Aug. 21). See more Solano County emergency centers here. The SCU Lightning Complex fires
