STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- “Yes, They’re Open” is a web series highlighting local bars and restaurants that are still open for takeout, delivery or pickup during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Live streams from the featured restaurants are broadcast on the Advance Facebook page every weekday around 3 p.m.
On Monday, the Advance highlighted COMMONS cafe at 2 Teleport Drive for offering pickup and outdoor dining during the pandemic. The cafe donates all its proceeds to charity and operates Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To contact the cafe, call 347-466-4207.
