Maud’s Café has reopened for takeout services, after a monthslong closure due to the coronavirus.
It’s also a chill place to get a caramel macchiato or golden milk latte.
“We have taken the necessary measures and are so excited to be opening again,” said Geoff Doiron, the VOA’s chief development officer. “We have missed seeing our regulars and serving the community their Maud’s favorites.”
Call 801-597-2868 for curbside pickup or make a to go order in person. Masks are required inside the eatery.
In addition to coffee, espresso and other hot and cold beverages, the menu includes snacks, bakery items, soup, salads, sandwiches and pizza. See all the options at maudscafe.com.
The cafe is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is still time to get tickets to the 34th annual Great Salt Lake Chili Affair, a fundraiser for The Road Home, on Sept. 23.
The one-hour virtual event is free and starts at 7 p.m. It includes a cooking demonstration, entertainment and children’s activities. Sign up at theroadhome.org.
There also is a VIP pre-show at 6 p.m. Tickets for that are $50. It includes a performance by a Utah Symphony chamber ensemble and a cooking demonstration by Viet Pham, owner of Salt Lake City’s Pretty Bird restaurant.
