Vacant no more, a former Clinton Street cafe will soon birth more of the same.
The old Cocoa Bar, which shuttered and never recovered from the mandated COVID-19 lockdown, is poised to become another cafe-cum-wine bar. (The Brooklyn-based Cocoa served thirteen years on the block.)
Application materials submitted to Community Board 3 reveal that Ooh La La will serve breakfast/brunch options, sandwiches, soups, salads, and paninis. All rounded out by coffees, teas, and juices. The team hopes to secure state approval to sell beer and wine, too, but no taps.
Below is the tentative menu for Ooh La La. ownership will appear before the SLA subcommittee of CB3 later this month.
