The third question for the Carmel Central School District's annual café is now open. This question asks:
“What are some important things to consider as we work to ensure our schools are safe places for all students
and staff during COVID-19?"
Because the COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges for large in-person gatherings, the district is moving their annual Carmel Café to an online platform.
They want to stay connected and hear your questions and ideas on how the district moves forward during this challenging and uncertain time in terms of these 4 topics: student learning, safety, equity, and social-emotional well-being. As always, they will consider your feedback as they plan for what is best for students in the coming school year.
For this year’s Café, The Schools District introduced 4 topics of conversation separately over the last few weeks. This gave participants the opportunity to provide meaningful feedback for each topic. The CCSD encourages community members to participate in all 4 of the Thoughtexchange conversations. Then, on November 17, 2020 The district will host a Town Hall on Zoom the conversations will continue.
