RICHMOND, Va. -- A new ice cream and sweets shop held its grand opening Saturday in Richmond.
Sweet Spot Ice Cream Cafe is located on North 18th Street near Main Street Station in Shockoe Bottom.
The shop offers 48 different flavors of ice cream, which can create more than 300 possibilities. They also offer non-dairy options, smoothies, coffee and other sweet treats.
“I don't want to have a limited menu, so having options for everyone, it just makes it an all-around experience,” Sierra White with Sweet Spot Ice Cream Cafe said.
As part of the grand opening, the shop collected food and toys for the Richmond SPCA. Folks who brought in a donation scored two free scoops of ice cream.
The cafe is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
