Deadline day has arrived.
We’ve spent the last few trade deadlines questioning whether it was finally the year the Orlando Magic would break up their longtime core of Aaron Gordon, Nikola Vucevic and Evan Fournier — the faces of the franchise during what has been the most frustrating stretch of basketball in Magic history.
And yet, when the deadline passed, all were still in pinstripes.
That could change, and most likely will change, over the next few hours, making Wednesday’s win over the Suns the end of an era.
We gathered some reading material in preparation of the trade deadline here, and we will use this space to provide updates and rumors leading up to the 3 p.m. deadline.

Per a Magic team source: "We started the week with no intentions of trading Nikola Vucevic. As things went along, we finally got an offer we felt we couldn't pass on. This was not an easy decision for us, given Vooch's status here in Orlando."

The Magic have moved Nikola Vucevic and Evan Fournier now -- with Aaron Gordon on deck. Magic will gather significant draft assets today and have young players, Jonathan Isaac and Markele Fultz, under contract long-term.

11:05 - Aminu is part of the Vooch deal. Very underwhelming return for a player of Vucevic’s caliber. This better result in the Magic getting a top-three pick in the lottery.
Here's the deal: The Bulls land Nikola Vucevic and Al Farouq Aminu for Otto Porter, Wendell Carter Jr., and two first-round picks. Huge addition for Chicago, who remains in pursuit of Lonzo Ball. The Magic are moving toward a rebuild now with Aaron Gordon deal on deck.

10:36 a.m. - Nikola Vucevic is still in play, but it’s going to take a lot to pry him away, as it should. Voochc, particularly with his ever-evolving skill set, can still fit into the timeline of a quick reset with a healthy Markelle Fultz and Jonathan Isaac.
Sources: Orlando continues to listen to offers on All-Star Nikola Vucevic, but it would take a substantial package to pry him. As the Magic drill down on Aaron Gordon trades, an additional move w/ Vucevic for assets would set franchise toward more substantial long-term retooling.
