Say hello to Sweetee P’s Cafe, Bookwood’s newest new meat-and-three restaurant.
The new soul food spot is located across the street from the Brookwood Police and Fire Department on Highway 216.
Co-owner Polly Anders said the business is something residents have been requesting for quite some time.
“It’s any type of food that you would get on a Sunday meal at home,” Anders said. “That’s how it came about, (residents) said they had everything but a soul food restaurant you can come sit down to have a home-cooked meal. So we’re bringing it to them.”
Sweetee P’s offers dine-in, delivery and takeout.
