After taking a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fireworks shows are returning to central Illinois. Here’s where you can see all the area’s displays:
July 3:
Monticello Freedom Fest: Fireworks at Lodge Park at dusk.
Fisher Fireworks: Fireworks at Fisher Fairgrounds at dusk.
Seymour Fireworks: Near the Seymour Fire Department at dusk.
Hoopeston 150th Birthday Celebration: Fireworks at the soccer fields at 9:30 p.m.
Danville Boat Club’s Thunder over Lake Vermilion: 9:30 p.m. ($$)
July 4:
Champaign County Freedom Celebration: University of Illinois lot E-14, just west of State Farm Center at 9:15 p.m.
Bement Fireworks: Fireworks at dusk.
Homer Fireworks: Fireworks at dusk.
Sibley Area 4th of July: Fireworks over Lake Sibley at dusk.
Paxton’s July 4th Celebration: Fireworks at Bixby Park starting at 9:15 p.m.
Gifford Community Celebration: Fireworks at dusk in Werner Roessler Park.
Bellflower: Fireworks at dusk at Don Harden Field.
Rossville: Fireworks at dusk.
July 5:
Clinton Fireworks: Fireworks at Rt. 51 South and Kleeman Dr., approximately 9:15 p.m.
July 10:
Tuscola Sparks in the Park: Fireworks at dusk.
