Guess who’s back?

Since September 18 of last year, guests to the Wexner Center of the Arts have been unable to dine at Heirloom, the eatery located inside the popular museum. The spot shuttered its doors in response to COVID-related safety issues. 

But now, nearly a year later, it’s once again open for business. This morning at 9 a.m. marked the cafe’s official re-opening.

“We’ve been hard at work getting ready to open next week on Tuesday, Aug. 24, the first day of class,” said a statement from Heirloom. “Come visit us and let us help you start the semester off right—with great food, coffee, snacks & more.”

From today forward, Heirloom will operate between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. It will offer both carryout and in-person dining services.

The eatery, which first opened in 2011, is known for providing high quality eats despite its location inside a busy art museum. Focusing on fare that’s both local and organic, Heirloom serves up classic cafe fare such as breakfast sandwiches, salads, bowls, and wraps, in addition to tea, coffee, and a variety of espresso-based drinks.

If you do plan to visit Heirloom, you’ll need to remember your mask, as facial coverings are currently mandatory throughout the Wexner Center.
