The Bears start their season in Memphis, Tennessee, at Memphis Twilight this coming Saturday, Sept. 4. Their second meet is in Bear country at Beaver Fork Lake, here in Conway. Please come out to support your Bears on Saturday, September 11. Their next stop is in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, Sept. 17 at the Commodore Classic. Following that, the Bears will travel to the Chili Pepper Festival on Saturday, Oct. 2 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Bears will test their talents in the Pre-Nationals Meet on Friday, Oct. 15, as they travel to Tallahassee, Florida. Next, the Bears will take a short jaunt over to Little Rock for the Little Rock Meet on Saturday, Oct. 16. This meet will up the stakes in the I-40 Governor's Showdown for Little Rock and UCA.
For the first time in school history, the Bears will race for the gold in Orlando, Florida, at the ASUN Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 30. Good luck to all our runners on their race to victory.
Men's and Women's Coach, Beau Theriot, had a positive outlook going into this season.
"We put a great schedule together this year with some great competition and that will get us ready, not only for conditions racing in Florida, but also match us up with some of the best teams in the nation."
