It was time to make our way back to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Megan was craving a smoothie, our daughter never turns down a smoothie, and I rarely pass up a revisited blog opportunity.

Everybody got their smoothies. I went with the Beach Bum which was strawberries, banana, and chocolate. It’s not fair for me to review it because the moment our daughter tried it, that’s all she wanted. So instead, I was fortunate to try the kid’s Jetty Junior, which was strawberries and banana; still an excellent choice.

Since we were there, we grabbed the baja chicken ranch…

…. while I had the Salsa Verda ‘Dilla. Our meals came with a side of kale and apple slaw. The side came out of nowhere. It wasn’t expected as my original side was not available. So, they gave me the slaw instead and it was bonkers. I’m uncertain if I’ve ever used bonkers in a review before. If this is the first time, it’s worth it.

The quesadilla or ‘dilla as Tropical Smoothie Cafe puts it, was so delicious. Salsa verde makes anything great; this was no different. While it didn’t look like much, $6.99 for the quesadilla and a side was quite the affordable and exceptional lunch.

Just like our first time there, the service was speedy and fantastic. Here’s to hoping their second location does well when it comes to 21st and Webb.
