The owners of the popular Hudson Café are planning another location to open later this year, according to an Instagram post.  

Big Beaver and Crooks Road in Troy is the new home, the Hudson Cafe posted.

According to the post, they’ve teamed up again with Birmingham-based Windy City Construction and Olon in St. Clair Shores for its interior design.  Both were behind its new Northville location and the recent remodel of its original Detroit Hudson Café on Woodward.

The post had hundreds of likes and plenty of comments congratulating the owners and happy and excited to see the cafe come to Troy.

"We cannot wait to be part of the community and see everyone at our new location. We will be located at Big Beaver and Crooks, just off I-75 and near Somerset Mall and some amazing restaurants, hotels, businesses, and people. The new location in Troy will be open later this year. Stay tuned for more details!," the owners posted.

Troy will be the third location for Hudson Café and located just off of the I-75 freeway and near Somerset Mall.

It’s been a busy year for Hudson Café. Owner Tom Teknos closed the original Hudson Café on Woodward in late January for a complete remodel. The Detroit location added a bar, updated the kitchen, remodeled the dining room, and added more seating.

Hudson Café’s second location in Northville is a former Applebee's in a shopping center on Haggerty and 6 Mile roads.

At Northville, they also offer a banquet room space for private parties, baby showers, and wedding showers.

Fan menu favorites at Hudson Café include French toast, Benedicts, and other specialties.
