CLEVELAND, Ohio -- After more than 17 years, Artefino Cafe has closed for business amid the coronavirus pandemic. The closure was announced in a Thursday, May 14 Facebook post.
The post states: “We hope everyone is safe! We want to thank you for all of your support over the years. We do want to let you know we will not be reopening. We have been proud to have served the Campus District for over 17 years. Thanks for the memories!”
Since March 13, Artefino had been closed due to coronavirus concerns, though the cafe had previously stated it was a temporary closure.
Artefino Cafe, located at 1900 Superior Avenue, served a selection of fresh sandwiches, salads and soups. The space also supported local artists by regularly displaying and selling their work.
