Owner Alex Heidenberger shares the sad news: “Today I am closing Cafe Soleil forever. Thank you to the amazing staff that has made this place home for so many. Thank you to the amazing customers. I am forever grateful for the doors that opened because of Cafe Soleil.”

From Cafe Soleil’s website:

“Sharing the neighborhood with the White House, Café Soleil has seen 12 years of serving food and drink to DC’s business professionals of all ages and tourists visiting the historical landmarks in the surrounding area. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour seven days a week. Our menu offers a wide variety of options, including steaks, salads, sandwiches, and fresh seafood.”
