The farm raises turkeys, but people were not having the big gatherings for Thanksgiving, and he had a lot of surplus. So he teamed up with a friend who owns a restaurant and decided to feed doctors and nurses who had to work instead of being home with their families.
He said they planned on making 200, sandwiches but ended up making 300.
While they lost a lot with the pandemic this year, giving back felt good.
