WAUKESHA — It’s been a long time coming, but Waukesha Café House owners Mojib and Narmin Rasuli are excited to open the doors of their new business today.
"We have been working on this for a long, long time. It was our dream to do it how we wanted it," Mojib Rasuli said.
Located across from Cutler Park at 410 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha Café House will serve espresso and coffee drinks, as well as salads, sandwiches and pastries.
"Our menu is pretty much multicultural-ish," Rasuli said. "To express who we are and what we are doing."
Mojib immigrated to the United States from Afghanistan and Narmin from Azerbaijan.
When the couple opens the doors to Waukesha Café House today, they look forward to connecting with the members of the community they call home with their children. Rasuli said the first week will be a soft opening for the business, but their full menu will be available. The focus will be, and always will be, on quality.
The hours for Waukesha Café House will be 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week.
